A full recap of the game is coming, but I had to say this: Boris, please cut down on your turnovers. You had 7 again tonight. That makes 4 times this season you have had that many. Do you know how many other players in the league have done that? 2. Their names are Steve Nash (who has 6 such games) and LeBron James. Both of them handle the ball more than you - and both play on faster teams, giving them even more opportunities to make a mistake. You, on the other hand, did not even gain your current freedom until halfway into December, but you seem to be making up for lost time.
To be fair, you are not the only Bobcat to have such a game - Raymond and D.J. both have 7 turnover games to their "credit". As a team, the Bobcats have a total of 6 games where a player had at least 7 turnovers, second only to the Suns with 7 such games. The good news? You do not look so bad when we look at 6 or more turnover games - you move to a tie for 11th with 5 (unfortunately, Raymond is among those tying you for 11th).
Look, Boris, I love the creativity you bring to the court and the way you are always looking for cutters. You have helped make the Bobcats a better passing team and more fun to watch. But if we could just get you to cut back by a turnover a game, the Bobcats offense might finally make a jump from bad to average (since December 12th, 105.1 offensive efficiency which would be good for 24th in the league).
