Check out the new toy. I've heard requests from people to make it easier to find out if new comments have been added to posts. Well, now you have it. I'll try to make it a little better looking and add it to all pages, but for now, it is a start. Hope it proves useful and feedback, as always, is appreciated. |

I'd planned to post tonight, but I have rewritten some of the code that populates my database tables and it is taking longer to complete than previously. Why? Because I am adding more detailed information that will help provide even better data...which will hopefully lead to better posts. And I promise to deliver one of said posts tomorrow. |

How do you calculate the adjusted /- you use here, is it comparable to how adjusted /- is done at 82 games? Is strength of schedule considered? A definition on the page would be useful in addition to here. |

I see what is going on now. What you call adjusted /- is just "net" /-. I'd recommend relabeling it as such so others don't what the confusion / questions I just expressed and went in the wrong direction. And maybe change the final column /- to 'total /-" Other than that the page is readable and will check back and see what you do with it over time. |

I'm still alive, just in case there was concern. And I'm not quitting...just struggling to be motivated right now, since (according to Hollinger) the team has a less than 5% chance of making the playoffs. I did fix the stats page so that there is not all the wasted space for other teams. And I replaced the link to the roster on the main page with one to the stats page - I hope to incorporate some of the roster type info into the stats page soon. |

i am <not pleased> (Brett's edit) at the charlotte bobcats. gerald wallace is the biggest joke. someone tell him to go go back to and1 or wherever the <mall> (Brett's edit) he came from. he is a ballhog who takes way to many shots, misses them all, and he is always hurt. we dont need him taking jumpers that is what carrol and richardson and felton are for. the last ten games (as of today) the bobcats were 5-0 at the beggining of the week. take note that wallace didnt play in any of those games. than wallace came back from his concusion, and the bobcats then went 0-6.i hate gerald wallace!!!
BOBCATS LAST ELEVEN GAMES:
WITH GERALD WALLACE: 0-6
WITHOUT: 5-0
GET RID OF GERALD WALLACE!!!!! |
