Mistake 2 In 2007, it seemed as if the Bobcats made a similar error in judgement, though on a lesser scale. This time they spent the 36th pick on Jermareo Davidson, leaving Josh McRoberts to go to Portland with the very next pick. Again, I hope to be wrong, but I have my reasons for doubting this pick. Widgets for the 2007 draftees will be added once available from NBA.com

While I do agree with you about the Morrison pick, being highly overrated coming out of College, he was at the time a better pick in the eyes of the fans. And with the attendance problems that Charlotte has had with the new team, Morrison was chosen to attract the people of Charlotte back in the seats. Hopefully he will pull through. He is not as bad as he played last year. And he can score!

Morrison really does fill up a box score. Your team will never be short on field goal attempts if you pencil him in that line-up.

Dude you might want to get your facts straight. The Warriors picked Davidon for the Bobcats because the J-Rich deal had already been in which we got pick #36 had already been agreed to. The problem was that with an NBA trade you have to announce it before the draft if picks are going to be involved. If it isn't then the deal can not be announced officially until all the picks involved have been used to take a player.
Chris, that is true. Hopefully, he'll fill up the field goals made column a little more this year, in addition to his stellar work on the fga column. NO, not quite sure I understand your complaint. The Bobcats did not literally hand in the selection of Jermareo, but they certainly picked him, don't you agree?

Well to all of you... The Morrison pick was MJs all on him if he were going for what the fans wanted at the time he would have taken Rudy Gay an athletic Forward that can play multiple possitions. And to let you kno Jamaareo Davidson is a gutsy player, I watched him in the preseason game vs New Jersey and he put up 15pts and like 6rebs if thats not good value for a second round rook thats not suppose to even make the team then I dont kno what is.

You're right on about passing up on McRoberts. With lack of frontcourt depth our primary weakness, a skilled 6-10 post player that can run, block shots and pass like McRoberts would have been huge. His skills would be perfectly suited for a team with Felton, Wallace and Richardson who all like to run and gun.

Ok now we all know MJ isn't a good evaluator of talent....if u want to fill seats u have 2 put out a good product...Neither JJ Redick or Adam have done a thing since bein drafted..oh yeah Adam can hoist them up with tha best of them..but he couldn't defend his own momma...besides that we need a big man who can score period...i like mike Beasley who will turn pro after this season...

not beat a dead horse, but why don't we look into trading mek for draft picks to get a scoring big man and/or an established big. his offensive game (outside of dunking) is mediocre and inconsistent at best. his hands are pretty bad and he travels often during post moves. sure he defends, the rim well, but his offense is not very productive for a 4.

Man, noah you are sooo wrong on trading MEK. the only reason why emekas offense is inconsistent is becuase he doesnt get the rock. When he gets at least ten touches a game he is normal above 60% from the field, and he is a game changer on the D end. I also agree HIGHLY with the fact that morrison was a waste. He is a joke, Rudy Gay would have fit perfectly with this squad, along with Brandon Roy wouldve been a sure thing too. now i know mj was filling the seats, but we could be looking at a 5th seed in the playoffs right now with one of those guys. the first step i think is getting rid of vincent, who is not ready to be a head coach, and getting Larry Brown. GOD SPEED.
