37 from Jackson gets Charlotte 37th win

Boxscore
Score: 108-95 CLT
Charlotte Bobcats record: 37-34
Offensive Efficiency: 116.0
Defensive Efficiency: 100.0
Meritorious Player: Tyrus Thomas - 8 points on 6 attempts, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 blocks in just 19 minutes of action. With Boris Diaw fouling out after playing less than 24 minutes, the Bobcats got a strong performance from the backup to help spark a victory.

While Tyrus Thomas managed to fill the stat sheet in a Gerald Wallace-like way, he was not the only: Crash did it too, with 23 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals, and 3 blocks. While Wallace's rebound total was a bit low from what we have come to expect, the Bobcats still crushed Minnesota on the glass, 44-34. Aside from Tyrus' 8 in short time, Tyson Chandler also managed 9 in just 22 minutes of action. Good activity on the glass against Al Jefferson and Kevin Love.

Since I mentioned Jax's big game in the title, I should probably fill in the details: 37 points on 15 of 24 from the field, 4 of 6 from deep, and 3 of 4 from the stripe. Stephen Jackson also had 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals (but did have 5 giveaways of his own). The 37 for Jackson broke a recent slump he had been in...and it set the Bobcats franchise record for most wins in a season with 37 (just like last night, but one more - I think this will be the last time I mention it until the end of the season - unless I feel like doing a Family Guy style running gag that goes on way too long for the audience).

Last thing: Raymond Felton could have easily been the MP of the game as well: 16 points on 10 attempts, 8 assists, 3 rebounds, 1 steal, and 0 turnovers. What more could you ask for from your point guard?
