Doing a hot/not breakdown, mainly because I have a couple of things to mention on both sides. But I will start positive for once and go with...
Hot
-Your Charlotte Bobcats - The team is on what passes for a winning streak in the Queen City, winners of 2 straight. Even better, they got some semblance of payback for the game they handed to Boston previously this season, by handling the Celtics by 12 yesterday. Fortunately, Ray Allen was benched with an injury, preventing him from hitting a 13 point shot to win the game for the Celts.
-Jason Richardson - 34 points on 22 shots last night - very nice. 25 on 18 the night prior - solid. Even better? The offense seems to be clicking with Jason finally - the Cats are scoring 101.4 points per 100 possessions with Richardson on the court, 97.9 without him. Since the start of December, the numbers get crazy: The offensive number with J-Rich is 104.3, and without 89.3. Seems like the adjustment period is over.
-Nazr Mohammed - Not too harp on it...but the Cats are playing winning basketball when Nazr is on the court - 101.4 points per 100 possessions for, 100.0 against. That cannot be said for very many Bobcats players - in fact, just two - Nazr and Matt Carroll (who could not be included in this list due to his current cold streak).
Not
-Jeff McInnis - In the 2 wins, McInnis contributed 10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and only 2 turnovers. Unfortunately, it took him 61 minutes to make this contribution, which is way too long to put up one half of a LeBron James' game. Since Christmas day, the Bobcats are losing on average by -2.5 points per 100 possessions, but with McInnis on the court, that number jumps to -6.8.
-The halftime show - Like whack-a-mole, but way, way less awesome. I have nothing good to say about the halftime show that Hardwood Paroxysm recounts here.

| Corn Says: | Thanks for the linkage. Yes, dear God, do not make anyone else suffer. I would rather watch Jordan play dice on center court for 20 minutes. | ||
