How's that for an introduction? Certainly better than being introduced like the opposition was to Westbrook in these next 2 videos:

A Profile of "one of college basketball's budding stars" - A bif of a fluff piece from Press-Enterprise, but still interesting to read. Encouraging to see how much progress he has made in developing his game.

ESPN Draft Watch: The stars come out in Orlando - (Yes, again) - "If you compared Westbrook and Augustin head-to-head in just the drills, Westbrook would win hands down. However, it's his ability to be a floor leader in the game that teams still question."

Kenpom's stats for Westbrook - Compare his numbers with Collison's...and, like above with Augustin, Westbrook seems to hold his own and then some (not to mention, he is also 3+ inches taller than both).

ESPN with the traditional stats - Nice improvements on free throw shooting and assists to turnovers from his freshman to sophomore years.

ESPN's Draft Tracker Card for Westbrook - "Seems to improve every time he steps on the floor."

NBADraft.net and their take on Russell - They knock him for his lack of size - which is an issue if he is a shooting guard, but he has good size for a point, at 6'-3", with a 6'-7.75" wingspan (see DraftExpress for the prospect measurements.

And the take from DraftExpress - Best Case: Leandro Barbosa (my thought on the comparison? With less 3-point shooting and more defense).
