The Bobcats Against the NBA's Best...by team

This is a follow-up to yesterday's post, that looked at how the Charlotte Bobcats played when matched up against All-NBA opposition. Today, due to some interest shown, I want to take a closer look at this, breaking it down by team (13 teams were represented by the 15 members of the 3 All-NBA squads, with Phoenix and Houston both having 2 reps).

Again, let us start by looking at how the Bobcats, as a whole did:

Any surprises included? Not at the top, where the Bobcats did ok - The Wolves and Lakers were among the worst of the teams represented here, so it is good to see the Bobcats held their own. The only real surprise lies in who gave the Bobcats the most troube: The Toronto Raptors. While the Raps were a solid team last year, from the way they handled the Cats, you would have thought they were the mid-90's Bulls.

Now, let's do this again, but with only the lineups for the Bobcats where Emeka and Gerald were both on the floor. Yesterday, this did not change much, but maybe it will have an effect on some teams.

I was sort of expecting for the numbers to group a little more closely this time, showing some kind of consistency imparted to the team by having Emeka and Gerald roaming the court. But that is nowhere to be seen in these numbers. One thing these numbers do tell me is that watching the Bobcats play against any of the Texas teams would be great for insomnia - those had to have been some ugly games.
